IPCO solid and perforated steel belts

IPCO steel belts are highly versatile, maintaining their strength and flexibility at operating temperatures from minus 80°C to +750°C. They can be supplied in solid form, or perforated to provide a longer-lasting, lighter alternative to wire mesh belts, and can be manufactured to any length or width

About:
IPCO steel
belts can be supplied in solid form, or perforated to provide a longer-lasting, lighter alternative to wire mesh belts, and can be manufactured to virtually any length and in widths from 800 mm to 3500 mm.

The combination of a solid flat surface and excellent heat transfer and thermal conductivity provides a crisp base that cannot be achieved on any other conveying medium, and the hard, smooth surface of the steel belt delivers a clean product release

Easy to clean:
This flat surface also means there are no gaps, recesses or crevices in which harmful acrylamide could build up. As a result, steel belts are quicker and easier to clean than mesh belts.

The inherent stability, durability and resistance to stretching of steel belt means a much longer working life than other materials, in many cases 20 years or more.

Solid steel belts are lighter than wire mesh – perforated steel belts lighter still – so cost up to 30% less to heat. Each time the belt exits the baking chamber, it begins to cool and has to be heated up again so the savings are continuous. As much of 25% of an oven’s energy consumption is needed to heat the belt, so these savings can be considerable.

Conveyor components:
While IPCO’s primary role in the bake industry is the supply of steel belts, the company can also provide support in the form of conveyor system design and the supply of conveyor components ranging from bearings and frames to advanced tracking solutions.

Service & support:
IPCO has fully trained and equipped service teams on the ground in all regions, as well as a Special Engineering team who can travel anywhere in the world to troubleshoot issues and provide specialist support in the form of conveyor system upgrades.
